| Metropolis is a silent science fiction film directed by Fritz Lang. It is set
in a futuristic urban dystopia and examines a common science fiction theme of
the day: the social crisis between workers and owners in capitalism. Metropolis was released in 1927 during a stable period of the Weimar
Republic. The American copyright lapsed in 1953. (Words of Wikipedia) 80 Years later... after a long stable period
in Europe... we see a crisis, and we don´t know what sort of future comes.
